| Beginner | 4 - 9 | Must be able to swim a lap unassisted | Up to 2 a week |
| Blue | 7 - 11 | Must be able to swim all four strokes legally | Up to 3 a week |
| Gold | 9 - 13 | Must be able to do: 8x50's @ 1:00; FlipTurns, Dives, Efficient Stroke Technique (coach's discretion) | Up to 6 a week |
| Senior Prep | 10 - 13 | Must be able to do: 12x50's @ :45 and 5x100's I.M.@ 1:45 | Up to 6 a week |
| Senior | 13 and up | Must be able to do: 12x50's @ :45 and 5x100's I.M.@ 1:45 | Up to 9 a week |
